Because clarity shouldn’t come at the cost of peace.
Meet the Founder
I’m Desiree Morrison — a Strategic Foresight Consultant, doctoral candidate, and founder of Future Design Strategies.
Before I ever became a consultant, I served eight years in the United States Air Force. That experience shaped how I see the world — structured, disciplined, and built to serve a mission. But it also showed me something no one talks about: how easy it is to lose yourself in the process of doing everything “right.”
When I transitioned out of the military and into government contracting, I carried that same mindset — work harder, stay sharp, never slow down. But over time, I realized something deeper: I wasn’t burned out because I couldn’t handle pressure. I was burned out because I was building a life that no longer aligned with who I was becoming.
That realization changed everything.
Future Design Strategies was born from that turning point — the moment I stopped surviving structure and started designing intention.
Now, I help ambitious founders and leaders do the same — trade chaos for clarity, reimagine their direction, and design futures that feel like freedom, not fatigue.
What Makes Future Design Strategies different?
Traditional consulting focuses on fixing today’s problems. I help you design tomorrow’s possibilities.
By combining strategic foresight with human insight, I help clients bridge the gap between vision and action — so they can make clear, confident decisions even when the future feels uncertain.
I don’t hand you cookie-cutter plans.
I help you build systems that fit your season, align with your values, and prepare you for what’s next — professionally and personally.
Because the truth is, you can’t lead the future if you’re too exhausted to look ahead.
We can help.
Clarity is power
You don’t need to do more, you need to see clearer. We cut through the noise and create a space to focus on what actually matters.
Foresight beats reactivity
The future doesn’t have to catch you off guard. When you anticipate change, you lead with confidence instead of fear.
Alignment over hustle
Butnout isn’t a badge of honor. Success that costs your peace isn’t success at all.
